Each room and suite at Matterhorn Focus Design Hotel was created by Swiss artist and designer Heinz Julen. Skylight Double Rooms offer a ceiling window that opens to the night sky. Most rooms provide views of the Matterhorn, and select rooms include a balcony.
Location and Ski Access
The hotel sits next to the Matterhorn Express gondola, allowing guests to reach the ski slopes within a three-minute walk. A free shuttle service operates from Zermatt station to the hotel between 8:00 and 19:00. The village center is a 15-minute walk away, and the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station is close by.
Spa and Wellness
The spa area has an indoor pool that flows into an outdoor hot tub, along with a salt-water bath and a Finnish sauna. A relaxation room contains heated loungers for post-treatment rest. Body treatments, massages, and hammam sessions are available on request.
Family-Friendly Amenities
The hotel provides children's robes, slippers, coloring pages, and chocolates in the rooms. A baby changing table is located in the dining area, and board games are available. Family rooms have separate bedrooms for children and parents, with twin beds in the children's area.
